JSP Construction Ltd has been established to provide bespoke turnkey solutions for our clients. With a wide range of experience in both residential and commercial new build, including work in the education sector, JSP is able to provide its services on projects ranging from £1M upwards.

LATEST PROJECTS

Quintana Gate
Quintana Gate

This new build project will provide 130 No. Student Bedrooms for The Neighbourhood brand of Student Accommodation.

The site comprises of the complex demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of a concrete framed four storey building with communal lounges, study rooms, laundry, gym, internal cycle storage, karaoke room, bar, administration offices and reception together with a total of 130 en suite bedrooms.

JSP commenced work on site in August 2017 with completion due ready for the student intake in September 2018.

Vogue Studios
Vogue Studios

This project is a new build construction of a landmark building providing Student Accommodation of 48 No. Bedrooms, and is the final third phase of our Lewes Road developments in Brighton.

The construction method employed is an off site manufacturing system combined with the use of factory completed pods enabling a swift, high standard completion to the project.

The completion of the build was achieved on time ready for the 2017 intake of students at full occupancy.

City Road
City Road

Following the successful delivery of The Neighbourhood for Parade Cardiff Ltd, JSP have been awarded the contract for a new build Student Accommodation block comprising of 131 No. student bedrooms.

The scheme commenced in May 2017, and the concrete framed 11 storey building will be completed in time for full occupation by students in September 2018.

The project is adjacent to our completed project The Neighbourhood, City Rd in Cardiff.

The Neighbourhood
The Neighbourhood

This project is a conversion of a 1970’s office block into 11 storeys of Student Accommodation comprising of both studios and cluster flats, totalling 123 No. student bedrooms.

This provides Cardiff University students with much needed capacity in a modern current style. The building also features reception and communal study areas, games, lounge and laundry rooms, as well as contemporary fitted kitchens and bathrooms in each of the student rooms.

The scheme commenced late Summer 2015 and completed on time for the September 2016 intake.

 

Stoneworks
Stoneworks

This project is a new build construction of a contemporary building providing Student Accommodation of 51 No. bedrooms.

The second phase of our Brighton trilogy, the scheme involves the remediation of ground conditions as the site is a former petrol station. Maintaining the use of off site manufacturing, the project is mainly clad in traditional brickwork with colour coded aluminium to parts of the top storey.

The project was completed on time for full student occupation in September 2017.

Sawmills

A fast track construction of 45 No. Student Bedrooms using the latest off site manufacturing technology.

In February 2015 JSP were awarded a commendation for Performance Beyond Compliance by the Considerate Constructors Scheme on this project. This certificate acknowledges that the project at Lewes Rd, Brighton, has achieved an Excellent rating in most categories and Very Good in the remainder.

Mill Street
Mill Street

Design and build of 13 No. apartments for the Extra Care Assisted Living sector in Liverpool. Utilising an off site manufactured timber frame system, complete with factory applied brick slip finishes to the external facade, will enable a fast track completion to the project.

Gilridge
Gilridge

Traditional New build construction of a 14,000 sq ft bespoke family home complete with underground garaging and separate leisure wing comprising indoor swimming pool and fitness gym set amongst 1.25 acres of landscaped gardens.

High Warren
High Warren

This cutting edge design for an extension to a large private dwelling in Warlingham, Surrey, includes a feature fireplace, bespoke joinery, slimline architectural glazing system and a state of the art audio visual system.

Kennington Park Clubhouse
Kennington Park Clubhouse

JSP completed the construction of a new clubhouse for Lambeth Council as part of the complete regeneration of this quiet side of Kennington Park.

Fast construction methods enabled the start to completion time frame within 6 months thus benefitting the local community to use of the new building during the summer of 2014.

This project was awarded NEC Highly Commended ‘Small Project of the Year Award’ in 2015, an international award recognising excellence in project delivery and showcasing good practice through collaboration.

Oakhyrst Grange
Oakhyrst Grange

The project was completed utilizing a very sustainable, environmentally friendly, efficient form of construction to avoid the automatic decline that the green belt location would normally warrant.

A new Build Teaching block, comprising 2 new classrooms, drama hall and associated practice rooms, kitchen and both boy and girl toilet/washroom facilities was completed. The fast track construction methods utilised, resulted in minimal disruption to the school and completion was achieved within 1.5 school terms.

Banstead Prep
Banstead Prep

JSP commenced work on this project in June 2013 with the keys being handed over to the Prep School in Banstead, Surrey at the end of November 2013.

Our remit was to design and build the classrooms as fast as possible with the minimal disruption to the school. We utilised off-site manufacturing systems to ensure the build time on site could be kept as low as possible.

The fit out was completed swiftly and incorporated the installation of many sustainable systems including MVHR systems throughout, PV solar array and LED lighting.
